Plaintiffs Latrell Lewis, Meleshia Lewis, and Melissa Lewis were arrested in the apartment by officers with guns drawn, and officers pointed a gun at Meleshia's toddler. Description: On April 2, 2014, the Plaintiff was visiting a friend’s apartment when Defendant Officers entered and handcuffed his hands tightly. Plaintiff was falsely charged with consuming alcohol in public, obstructing government and resisting arrest. Defendants did not have probable cause or reasonable suspicion to detail, stop or arrest Plaintiff inside the apartment or for anything that had occured earlier. Plaintiff was transported to a precinct, where Defendants filled out false police reports that were used to charge him. The plaintiff spent approximately 24 hours in custody before prosecutors declined to charge him the next day.
