Description: On March 1, 2012, Plaintiff had paid for his dinner at a take out restaurant. Defendant Officers Freddie Taveres and Mayelin Perez approached Plaintiff when he stepped outside and asked what was in his pockets. Plaintiff is a 70 year of African American male. Without having consent, Defendant Taveres frisked Plaintiff then reached into his front pockets, finding nothing. The defendant officers held Plaintiff for thirty minutes, then let him go without charges.
