Description: On November 20, 2011, Plaintiff Madeline Nelson took part in a "noise demonstration" associated with the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) movement outside the then-Mayor's house. Plaintiff brought with her a pot and spoon, which she banged together to make noise as part of the demonstration.
During the demonstration, Plaintiff was placed under arrest by an unidentified NYPD officer, who also confiscated her pot and spoon. She then was placed in the custody of an unidentified NYPD supervisor, who then gave her into the custody of Defendant NYPD Officer Chang. Defendant Chang brought plaintiff to the police precinct and filled out paperwork listing three arrest charges, all of which clearly misrepresented Plaintiff's law...
