Description: On October 22, 2021, at approximately 5:50 p.m., Plaintiff Robert Santiago was present in the vicinity of 227 Sullivan Place in Kings County, when Defendant NYPD Police Officers unlawfully arrested Plaintiff without legal justification. Plaintiff and his vehicle were searched, he was handcuffed and shoved into a marked police vehicle, and Plaintiff's vehicle was confiscated and impounded for a month. Plaintiff was transported to the 71st Precinct and was held for 9 hours without the opportunity to make a phone call. Plaintiff was then transferred to Central Booking, where he remained for approximately 39 hours.
