Description: On October 9, 2020, Plaintiffs were attending a candlelight vigil outside the park located at Hancock Street and Spencer place when multiple police cars arrived on the scene and began to arrest one of the vigil attendees. One of the plaintiffs started to record the incident on their phone, and a Defendant officer approached the Plaintiff and pushed them onto the sidewalk. Plaintiff continued to record on their cellphone and was pushed a second time, causing them to fall to the floor. Multiple Defendant officers got on top of the plaintiff and restrained them with handcuffs and searched them before placing them under arrest.
