Description: On March 10, 2021, without any probable cause or any other legal justification, Plaintiff was instructed to step out of his vehicle by Defendants ARGENIS BETANCO, IVAN CRUZ, and other unknown police officers. Although they didn't have any legal basis, they grabbed, physically restrained and slammed Plaintiff against a wall. Defendants affixed metal handcuffs to Plaintiff’s wrists in an excessively tight fashion. In addition, they slammed Plaintiff onto the pavement, kicked, punched him and dragged him on the floor. Plaintiff was then unlawfully detained over the course of two (2) days and maliciously prosecuted for crimes he did not commit.
