On July 19, 2019, Plaintiff was approached and arrested by Defendants Yu and John Does #4-6 with no probable clause or reasonable suspicion.

Complaint
Description: On April 10, 2019, Plaintiff was working as a ticket seller for a boat tour operator in Battery Park when Defendants Yu and John Does 1-3 approached her and arrested her without probable cause. Defendant Yu later alleged falsely that he had observed plaintiff making fraudulent misrepresentations during her ticket selling work. Plaintiff was then taken to Central Booking, arraigned, and released on her own recognizance. She was required to appear in Criminal Court two times before the case was dismissed on July 12, 2019.
