Description: On July 16, 2020, Officers Figueroa and Doe, arrested Plaintiffs Heyward ad Vinces at their a residence in Staten Island for Heyward and the Bronx for Vines. They were taken first to Precinct 44 and subsequently to Central Booking in the Bronx, where they were arraigned and charged with Murder in the Second Degree and related charges on July 17. They were remanded to NYDOC, where they were incarcerated until August 26, 2020, in the case of Heyward, and until March 11, 2021, in the case of Vines. All charges against them were dismissed on January 24, 2022.
