Description: On August 30, 2019, the plaintiff, Jamel Nicholson, was legally present in the courtyard of 1402 Brooklyn Avenue, Brooklyn NY 11210, when the defendant police officers, without a court-ordered warrant or probable cause, stopped, searched and arrested Mr. Nicholson. The defendants unlawfully transported Mr. Nicholson against his will to the 67th precinct, where he was further processed and detained for many hours.
