Description: On September 25, 2019, while Mr. Stewart was waiting for an elevator at his job, Officers Hirschman and Davis exited an elevator and began asking him where he was coming from and other questions. Mr. Stewart declined to answer the questions and was then handcuffed by both officers. The handcuffs were fastened tightly causing Mr. Stewart injuries. Around half an hour later Hirschman and Davis' supervising Sergeant arrived and ordered that he be released.

Description: Defendant Officers and EMTs entered Plaintiff's apartment based on an inaccurate report that Plaintiff posed a danger to herself, and despite seeing that Plaintiff clearly was not a danger to herself, they treated her as a prisoner in her own home and forcibly, violently took her to a hospital. At one point Plaintiff was pushed to the ground by an officer. Defendant officers applied weight and pressure to Plaintiff, causing her hands and wrists to become swollen and bruised. She was then handcuffed behind her back and taken to a psychiatric facility.
