Description: On January 1, 2014, at approximately 2:00 a.m., plaintiff was lawfully riding his bicycle in Queens, New York, when he was suddenly approached head-on by a police car. To avoid collision, plaintiff swerved onto the sidewalk, only to be blocked by two more police cars. Defendant officers, including Vila and Srour, rushed toward him with guns drawn, forced him to the ground, and demanded to know "Where is the gun?" and "Why are you running?". Despite plaintiff's compliance, the officers kicked him and hit him with their gun butts. They then took him to the 103rd Precinct station house, where he was bleeding from his face and eye.
