Description: On July 31, 2021, defendant POs were involved with an emotionally disturbed individual and defendant PO Zorrilla came through the turnstile and grabbed, pushed and removed disturbed plaintiff from inside the subway area when plaintiff was inside the subway station at Essex and Delancy Streets. Defendant Zorrilla ordered the plaintiff to vacate the station. Plaintiff complied. Once outside the station, the EMS Worker put the emotionally disturbed person in the vehicle. At that point, defendant Zorrilla rushed at plaintiff, grabbed him and violently threw him to the ground. Description: On July 31, 2021, Plaintiff was at a subway station when he saw Officers Zorilla, Reyes, and Rivera, in plaint clothes, yelling obscenities while surrounding a man who they had pepper sprayed, and was sitting on the floor on the paid side of the turnstiles. Plaintiff asked Defendant Sgt. Zorrilla why he was surrounding the man and what he was going to do to him. Plaintiff then began recording the Defendants via his cell phone. Zorrilla would not allow Plaintiff to access the train. Zorrilla then grabbed a female entering the subway and dragged her through the emergency exit door and shoved her into Plaintiff.
