Complaint
Description: On April 28, 2020, Plaintiff, who was 53 years old, was waiting in line to enter a pharmacy with her mobility walker. Police Officers Cesar Arriaga and Scott Parker approached Plaintiff and told her to leave the line because she was banned from the store. Plaintiff responded that she was not banned, at which point Officer Arriaga threw Plaintiff's mobility walker across the sidewalk, breaking it. Officer Parker grabbed Plaintiff and threw her to the ground. Plaintiff struggled to get up and was seen by EMTs at the scene. A sergeant threatened Plaintiff with arrest.
