Description: On September 8, 2012, three officers, from the 73rd Precinct, approached Shakeeba Glenn, who was lawfully sitting in a parked motor vehicle. The officers recognised Ms. Glenn as the plaintiff in an existing lawsuit against other police officers in the 73rd Precinct, which alleged that the officers had tasered Ms. Glenn in the abdomen while she was pregnant resulting in a miscarriage. The three officers stopped, detained, questioned and unlawfully searched Ms. Glenn's person and purse without cause. After retrieving her ID, one of the officers stated "I knew that was her" and "I told you that was her". The officers unlawfully arrested and handcuffed Ms. Glenn, stating "Because you know who you are." Ms. Glenn ...
