Description: On September 24, while present at 3959 Broadway in New York, defendant Officer Paul failed to follow protocol and multiple sections of the NYPD patrol guide regarding the transport, custody, and care of a prisoner, leading to the prisoner's escape. As a result, the defendant requested the plaintiff's aid. While working at NY Presbyterian Hospital located at 3595 Broadway, the plaintiff provided assistance in response to the defendant's request and sustained serious injuries. The defendants created and exacerbated the dangerous condition related to the prisoner, and the incident was caused solely by their negligence.
