Description: On or about July 16, 2001 at approximately between 7:00 and 8:00 pm, the plaintiff, Dionne Campbell was retrieving clothing for nephew at his apartment located at 379 Amboy Street, 2nd Floor, Brooklyn, New York when the defendant, Police Officer Brian Cheng of the NYPD entered the apartment and questioned Ms. Campbell about why she was present. She explained the reason why she was at the apartment. Mr. Cheng then demanded the keys to the apartment and told Ms. Campbell to leave. As Ms. Campbell bent over to put on her shoes, Officer Cheng used the apartment door to strike her, causing her to suffer serious injury.
