Complaint
Description: On January 20, 2021, plaintiff was stopped, questioned, frisked and searched by defendant Winters. Defendant Winters and other police officer defendants then pushed, punched and kicked plaintiff about the face and body, subjecting him to assault, battery and use of excessive force. Some of the police officer stood around and witnessed the actions taken against plaintiff, but did not intervene.
Defendant Winter then restrained plaintiff with metal handcuffs and arrested him.
Defendants thereafter transported plaintiff to a precinct, where plaintiff was
fingerprinted, photographed and detained in a holding cell. Plaintiff spent ca. 24 hours in police custody. Defendant Winters falsely stated to the Bronx...
