Description: On July 4, 2015, Plaintiff was lawfully present at the intersection of Davison Avenue and Burnside Avenue in the Bronx. Without justification or a warrant, defendant police officers stopped, searched, handcuffed, and detained Plaintiff. In the process, defendant police officers used excessive force and caused Plaintiff physical injury requiring medical care. Plaintiff was subsequently subjected to a strip search, arraigned, and falsely accused of and charged with committing a crime. The criminal action against Plaintiff was eventually terminated in his favor via dismissal.
