Description: On October 4th, 2012, Plaintiff was in an "Operation Clean Halls" building as a guest of his then-girlfriend. He was questioned by NYPD officers including Francis Bryant. Despite explaining the situation and having done nothing wrong, he was searched, handcuffed, and arrested and his eye medication taken from him. They refused to knock on his girlfriend's door to verify his claim. The officers took him to the precinct and made false charges against him.

Description: On September 3, 2011, the two Plaintiffs were pulled over by POs Charles Awani and Richard Valdez, without any lawful reason, and were roughly pulled out of the car driven and owned by one of the Plaintiffs. PO Awani asked one of the Plaintiffs if he had smoked marijuana. When the Plaintiff said “no”, PO Awani stated, inter alia, that he knew that Plaintiff was lying and that he would punch him in the face if he kept lying to him. Plaintiff had not lied.
