Description: On March 6, 2021, NYPD officers approached a vehicle occupied by Plaintiff. A witness approached and pointed to an individual other than Plaintiff. An unknown officer pulled out his weapon and pointed it at Plaintiff. The officer grabbed Plaintiff, took him out of the car, and officers handcuffed him with extremely tight handcuffs and placed him in an NYPD vehicle. Officers did not oblige when Plaintiff asked them to loosen the handcuffs.
Plaintiff was taken to the precinct where he was strip searched without basis. At Central Booking, Plaintiff had no mattress and had to lay on a metal bench which caused him injury. Plaintiff was falsely charged with robbery. The charge was dismissed on May 20, 2021.
