Complaint
Description: On February 6, 2022, at approximately 11 a.m., Plaintiff was in the vicinity of Southern Boulevard and East 149th Street and was not doing anything illegal, improper, or suspicious when he was stopped, searched, and assaulted by PO Kelly Pierce and other police officers, resulting in serious bodily injuries. Plaintiff was then arrested, brought to a police station, and arraigned. Following his arraignment, Plaintiff remained incarcerated for over 24 hours and was required to make numerous court appearances over an extended period of time. All charges were ultimately terminated in Plaintiff’s favor.
