Description: Defendants officers came to Plaintiff's home looking for his friend, who was present, saying that he violated an order of protection. When plaintiff wouldn't let officers enter, they tasered him, tightly handcuffed him, unlawfully entered and searched his home. Officers falsely arrested Plaintiff, his friend, and his mom, took them to the 94th precinct, and tried to prosecute him for OGA. The DA declined to prosecute.

Description: On December 25, 2012, Plaintiff was inside her home with Plaintiff’s son, Derrell Davantes, and Derrell’s friend Dason Beam. Defendants responded to Plaintiff’s home after receiving a call stating that Beam violated an order of protection on July 4, 2011, and further stating that Beam was inside Plaintiff’s home. Plaintiff and Derrell told the Defendants that Beam was inside their home but that the police could not enter without a warrant. A white male police officer responded by stating, “fuck that,” and tasered Derrell. Some of the taser prongs hit Plaintiff, causing her pain and injury. Defendants then dragged Plaintiff out of her home, slammed Plaintiff into a wall, twisted Plaintiff’s arms, and handcuffed ...
