Defendant NYPD Police Officers, under the pretext of Mayor de Blasio's Emergency Executive Orders, engaged in unlawful and impermissible violence to disrupt this protest, injuring and arresting plaintiffs.

Description: On Jne 4, 2020, Plaintiffs were peacefully attending a protest, when SRG officers in full riot gear formed aline with their bicycles to block protestors for walking any further. The officers used their bicycles as weapons, pushing the protestors back. Protestors were trapped and unable to leave, and NYPD (including Monahan and Lehr) failed to respond to their pleas. Per order of Monahan, Plaintiff Jones was grabbed, seized, chocked, and thrown to the ground by PO Wilson. Description: On or about May 25, 2020, at approximately 9:00 p.m., Plaintiff Caren Baez was lawfully present at or near the vicinity of 600 Concord Avenue in Bronx County, when Defendant NYPD Police Officer Eduard Lucero violently assaulted Plaintiff by lifting her, throwing her to the ground, and punching her before restraining Plaintiff with handcuffs.
