Description: On or about January 30, 2019, while playing slots at a casino, plaintiff was accused by casino employees of breaking a slot machine and detained in an office downstairs. When plaintiff denied breaking the machine and refused to pay for it, NYPD officers arrested and charged her with 4th Degree Criminal Mischief. Once the charges were dismissed, plaintiff sued both the casino and the city for false imprisonment and false arrest.
