Description: On August 3, 2012, plaintiff was walking on the street in Manhattan having just left his aunt's house, when the defendant NYPD officers, including Lt. Anthony Ronda, P.O. Andre Reyes, Det. Carlos Sierra, and Det. Matthew Forte, drew a firearm at him, forced him against a gate, placed him in handcuffs, and falsely arrested him without probable cause or a warrant. They took him to the 25th precinct, where he was subjected to a strip search. The officers fabricated evidence leading to plaintiff's prosecution on false charges. All charges against plaintiff were dismissed on May 15, 2013.

Description: On February 9, 2012, 14 NYPD Officers broke down the door to Plaintiffs' residence pursuant to a fraudulently and maliciously obtained search warrant. NYPD Officer Jackson placed all the Plaintiffs under arrest. Plaintiff Romulo Taveras was thrown to the floor and rear handcuffed. Plaintiff Rami Taveras was pulled from his bed, thrown to the floor, held down at gunpoint, and handcuffed. The residence was searched for several hours before the defendants realized that they had made a mistake, released the Plaintiffs, and voided their arrests.

Description: On June 6, 2012, three NYPD Officers including Officers Anthony Ronda and Joey Alix approached and searched Plaintiff without any justification for doing so. The search yielded no guns, drugs, or contraband, but the Officers nonetheless applied excessively tight handcuffs and arrested Plaintiff. Plaintiff was transported to the 25th precinct where he was strip searched and held for many hours before being arraigned. Plaintiff was then held for several days before being released. Plaintiff was prosecuted for several months pursuant to false allegations sworn to by NYPD Officer Robert Frank on the basis of false allegations provided by Officers Ronda and Alix.
