Description: On February 16, 2016, Plaintiff Preston was traveling to work on an MTA bus early in the morning. She was standing in line to exit the bus when a woman behind her tried to push past her. Plaintiff said to the woman, “Miss, calm down. We’re all getting off the bus.” This woman, later identified as an unnamed NYPD officer who was not in uniform, yelled at plaintiff obscenities, calling her a b*tch and saying she was going to f*ck her up. After exiting the bus, the unnamed police officer attacked Plaintiff Preston and punched her several times in the face. Defendant Officer Crecca arrived on scene and saw the woman still attacking Plaintiff Preston; he attempted to separate the two and succeeded in restraining the...
