Description: On or about February 2, 2017, Defendants a group of 10-15 NYPD officers, without warning, broke down the door of Plaintiffs Kenya Thomas and Tyana Miller's apartment. Defendants entered Thomas's bedroom, pointed firearms at her, and commanded her not to move. Defendants then placed Plaintiff Thomas in excessively tight handcuffs and moved her into her sister's bedroom. Defendant Bridgett Penner/Jane Doe officer arrived a few minutes later and searched Plaintiff Thomas in view of her family members and a male police officer.
