Description: On June 2, 2012, Plaintiff was visiting friends at a residential apartment when PO Angelo Cuozzo and other NYPD officers without cause, justification, or permission forcibly entered the apartment and detained Plaintiff and everyone else in the apartment. Without any legal basis, PO Cuozzo searched Plaintiff, found approximately USD 1,500 on Plaintiff, and stole that money. He also, inter alia, strip searched Plaintiff and later, at the precinct, kept Plaintiff handcuffed to a cold, hard metal bench for an entire night.
