Description: On March 10, 2013, plaintiff emailed Officer Moglia, who had previously arrested him in a domestic violence dispute with his wife, about how distraught the incident had mad him. He did not threaten the officer but did say to write him back or to call to discuss. In retaliation, Moglia's colleagues got a search warrant from the DA under false pretenses. Police then raided plaintiff's apartment and sized computers and phones. Officers used excessive force and dislocated plaintiff's left shoulder. Officer Buehler then charged with plaintiff with aggravated harassment in which Moglia said the email placed him in fear of serious injury. The DA used this to make the search warrant.
