Description: On June 12, 2021, Plaintiff was a volunteer and assistant helping with the set-up for an event and was directed, instructed and/or told to perform the setup of electrical wires and connections by the defendant, SOAP BOX DERBY. Plaintiff was on a ladder hanging the finish line sign and connecting wires when a race driver crashed onto the ladder causing him to fall and suffer serious personal injuries. Defendant police officer, DARNOLD LAPOMMERAY, negligently and carelessly organized, managed, and set-up the aforesaid event and failed to provide an adequate and safe environment for the citizen of the State of New York.
