Description: On October 21, 2018, Jonathan Mercado (Plaintiff) was walking with friends, including Aaron Gonzales-Lott and Gavin Rodriguez, to go to a local store. On their way to the store, Plaintiff and his friends passed by a group of people they did not know and a fight broke out among that group of individuals. Plaintiff did not know the individuals and he was not involved in the fight. Mr. Gonzales-Lott was injured by some of the people fighting and received a cut to his face.
