Description: On or about July 5, 2017, Plaintiff was near the Red Hook NYCHA Houses while a group of people were gathered outside. Plaintiff approached a woman he knew to say hi and catch up. Soon after Defendant officers Samuel Lavaud, Nicholas Demetrius, Andre Grant, Paul Melendez and others (together the "defendants") pulled up and illegally stopped and threw plaintiff to the ground. They then falsely arrested him and placed him in their van. Defendants fabricated a story making false allegations against plaintiff including gun posession and maliciously prosecuted him. They falsely stated that they closely observed Mr. Parker when they arrived at the scene, that he dropped a firearm from his person, that he ran away, and...
