Description: On August 23, 2012, Plaintiffs were stopped, frisked, and detained in handcuffs for approximately two hours on the side of the road despite a complete lack of probable cause. Among the NYPD officers performing the search was NYPD Officer Maureen Mooney. Plaintiff Forney was eventually released but Plaintiff Mosley was unlawfully arrested. Plaintiff Mosley was arraigned on the basis of false allegations and false sworn statements. As a result, he was forced to wait in jail for 6 days before he was released. All charges against Plaintiff Mosley were terminated in his favor on February 22, 2012.
