Description: On February 22, 2019, Plaintiff Bladimil Arroyo appeared before Justice Mathew D'Emic of the Supreme Court of the State of New York after more than 17 years of incarceration for a crime he did not commit; all charges were dismissed and the 2002 conviction was vacated.
On September 16, 2001, the Plaintiff was present when Edwin Lorenzo engaged in a confrontation with Carey Greene and Gabor Muronyi. Greene stabbed Lorenzo repeatedly and Lorenzo fired a handgun at both Greene and Muronyi, striking Muronyi and causing his death.
