Description: On May 30, 2020, Dylan Cowell was walking in Manhattan on 87th Street and Second Avenue when a large group of protesters protesting the murder of George Floyd in the same area was asked to move by police. When the protesters moved in the same direction as Cowell, a number of them were arrested by NYPD officers including Officer Christian Andrade including Cowell. Plaintiff alleges false arrest, excessive force, and constitutional rights violations.
