Description: On January 18, 2022, Plaintiff was on the sidewalk with some friends when he observed several uniformed defendant officers walking towards them. Defendant approached Plaintiff and told him he was going to frisk him. During this encounter, Plaintiff’s hands were above his head, as he was instructed, and then defendant conducted the unlawful frisk and did not feel anything hard or anything he believed to be illegal. Description: On September 12, 2021, Kyrin Conyers (Plaintiff) was leaving a cookout to head to a grocery store, WestFarms Grocery, to purchase additional rolls and bread. As Plaintiff was walking to the grocery store, Plaintiff noticed an unmarked car with uniformed officers inside. Plaintiff continued to walk after the Defendant Officers exited the vehicle. Description:
On March 19, 2021, Plaintiff was approached by P.O.s including Officer Taulant Gjonbalaj, Officer Kelly, Officer Bacovic, Officer Perez and stopped, searched, grabbed, assaulted, battered, and detained. In the course of the arrest, Plaintiff was handled in an egregious manner and experienced injury to the head, neck, back, body and limbs. Plaintiff was subjected to a strip search and remained incarcerated for over 24 hours. After being prosecuted on false charges, all charges against Plaintiff were terminated favorably.
