Description: On August 19, 2021, while lawfully at the intersection of 21st Street and 20th Avenue in Queens, NY, the plaintiff was illegally stopped, searched, assaulted, battered, and arrested in an excessive manner by the defendants, including Riveiro, Tsatsaronis, and John Does 1-6, without legal justification. The plaintiff, on a motorcycle, was struck by an unmarked police vehicle, prompting him to flee for safety. During the chase, another NYPD vehicle struck and pinned him. A defendant officer approached on foot and struck the plaintiff in the face. The plaintiff briefly fled again before surrendering.
