Description: On June 4, 2020, plaintiff encountered a protest while biking home. Stopping to observe it, he was pushed by an unknown Defendant officer (John Doe 1), who told him to leave the scene. Plaintiff attempted to comply, but was stopped by Defendant Inspector Lance, who also told him to leave the scene. When Plaintiff attempted to tell Lance that he was leaving, Lance struck his bicycle tire with his baton/asp, causing it to pop, and then struck Plaintiff with the baton/asp. Defendant Johnson and Doe Defendants #2-7 joined in the assault, during which Plaintiff was thrown to the ground and continually beaten with batons. Description: On August 18, 2018 several police officers arrested plaintiffs without any particular reason. Plaintiffs were visiting and socializing at an annual barbecue called "family" day for the residents and friends of people living in the Marcy Projects. The police swarmed in the courtyard without warrant or cause and began abusing people. Plaintiff Kenneth Walston was trying to film acts of police misconduct, and police grabbed his phone, pulled his arms, placed excessively tight handcuffs on his wrists, and slammed him into a fence. Finally he was shoved into a police vehicle. Plaintiff Tracy Wilson was shoved and slammed also to the ground repeatedly. Nevertheless, she was not arrested.

Description: On December 20, 2016, Plaintiff and four other individuals were approached by P.O. Verdesoto, Forrester and Vincenzo Dimartino. As this was happening, another member of the group removed what appeared to be a firearm from his jacket and threw said firearm over a fence. He then proceeded to take off running at full speed. The officers were unable to catch him. However, P.O. Verdesoto falsely claimed, and P.O. Verdesoto, Forrester falsely testified, that the individual who tossed the firearm was Plaintiff, when in fact he was well aware that Plaintiff was actually one of the other four in the group, which caused Plaintiff to be arrested and criminally charged. Plaintiff was acquitted on trial.
