Complaint
Description: On March 7, 2021, Plaintiffs (Stacy, Shadae, Oshane, and Diamond) were lawfully driving when they were pulled over by an unmarked police car. The police officers got out and dragged Plaintiffs out of their car. The officers repeatedly punched and beat Plaintiffs. Oshane was placed in a chokehold when the officers removed him from his vehicle. Shadae was shoved to the ground and was kneed on her back. Officers tased Shadae twice. Plaintiffs were then detained and taken into custody, where Plaintiffs were denied medical attention. All charges against Plaintiffs were dismissed.
