Description: On April 28, 2020, while lawfully present in the vicinity of 1350 Sutter Avenue in Brooklyn, NY, the plaintiff was unlawfully approached, assaulted, battered, arrested, and excessively detained by the defendants, including Radonicic, Mastronardi, and John Does 1-10, without legal justification and in retaliation for exercising his First Amendment rights. Prior to the arrest, the plaintiff was standing on the sidewalk attempting to document the enforcement activity of a group of NYPD officers under the supervision of defendant Mastronardi from a safe and reasonable distance.
