Description: On December 25, 2012, as plaintiff was leaving a friend's apartment a police cruiser stopped in front of them. Defendants exited the vehicle, interrogated and searched plaintiff. No contraband was found on his person. Additional officers then arrived at the scene. Defendants subsequently handcuffed plaintiff and threw him into their police cruiser, injuring plaintiff. The DA's office informed defendants that plaintiffs would not be prosecuted, but defendant Almonor nevertheless transported them to Central Booking. Plaintiffs were subsequently released without ever be formally charged of any crime.
