Description: On February 27. 2022, Plaintiff called 911 because Plaintiff’s former boyfriend was inside her home threating her and her daughter. They opened the door to defendants when their dog starting barking from inside the back of the residence. Plaintiff confirmed that the dog was secured, complied with Defendant’s order to step out of the apartment and to provide proof of residence. In order to show a proof of residence, the boyfriend asked to release the dog to enter the room and the police officers acknowledged. Quickly the dog went at the door, but the girl was able to stop the dog and controlled it, which represented no threat for them.
