Description: On September 6, 2010, an unidentified gunman shot at NYPD Officers Seminara, Henderson, and Ortlieb. Trevor Perez was present at the shooting and was unlawfully handcuffed and imprisoned shortly thereafter despite not being involved in the shooting. NYPD Detective Freed and an unidentified NYPD Officer coerced a confession from Perez by forcing him to sign a dictated statement on a photograph of Plaintiff identifying Plaintiff as the gunman.
