Description: On September 19, 2021, at the plaintiffs' residence at 3720 Lyme Avenue in Brooklyn, NY, the plaintiffs contacted the police for help with a dispute involving a co-tenant. Defendant officers, including Sea Gate and John Does, arrived at the scene and began harassing the plaintiffs, who remained civil throughout the interaction. During the incident, defendant Ferrara used racial language against the plaintiffs in front of their toddler son. As a result, the plaintiffs suffered damages.
