Description: On April 10, 2015, Plaintiff was falsely convicted of charges related to a robbery that he did not commit. His conviction was procured by duress, misrepresentation, and fraud by Officer Ellis DeLoren, who led the investigation. The only direct evidence that connected Plaintiff to the crimes he was charged were the highly suspect identifications of four witnesses, each of whom testified under a grant of immunity, had every reason to curry favor with the police, and whose identifications were conducted under suggestive procedures by Officer DeLoren, who was well aware that he was acting in violation of Plaintiff's rights. Description: On September 28 2016, the Plaintiff was wrongfully sentenced to 10 years in prison based on the wrongful and fabricated efforts made by NYPD Detective Ellis DeLoren, and John Does. The Detectives initiated a serious malicious prosecution against the Plaintiff resulting in his extensive and unlawful incarceration of 6 years and deprivation of liberty. The malicious prosecution consisted of coercing eyewitnesses and supplying suggestive photos of the Plaintiff. All charges were dismissed on March 23 2021
