Description: On August 1, 2010, Plaintiff was a passenger in her vehicle being driven by her son when they were unlawfully stopped by four officers. The officers claimed that her son had run a red light and almost hit the police vehicle. However, there was no traffic light at the intersection where officers claimed the light was ran. The officers issued a summons to Plaintiff's son for reckless driving and permitted them to drive on. Almost immediately, the officers again stopped Plaintiff's vehicle, this time with an additional 6 officers surrounding the car.
