Description: On November 3, 2018, Plaintiff Mehdi Bensabeur was leaving a Brooklyn bar when he accidentally bumped into a man. The man confronted the plaintiff and Plaintiff Bensabeur apologized. As Bensabeur tried to leave, the man grabbed the Plaintiff and punched him in the back of the head; two other men joined in the assault and also began to attack Bensabeur. Witnesses at the bar repeatedly told NYPD officers that Bensabeur had been assaulted and that the assailants ran away.
