Description: On September 29, 2022, Plaintiff Shahid Woodstock, a 22-year-old resident of Kings County, was lawfully present on a public sidewalk when he was unlawfully pursued and shot from behind in the leg by Defendant Police Officer David Barker. Defendant Barker fired at least one additional shot, striking a doorframe near Plaintiff's head. Plaintiff made it into the lobby of his building as he collapsed to the floor, bleeding profusely from the gunshot wound.
