Complaint
Description: On May 5, 2011, at approximately 6:25 am, defendant police officers David Lambert, John Doe, and Jane Doe broke into Apt: 12A, 433 Lafayette Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11238, the plaintiffs' residence. The officers were wearing helmets and special gear, each carrying firearms. The officers entered the bedrooms where each of the plaintiffs was asleep. The defendant officers brandished guns in the faces of the plaintiffs, shouted at them, and handcuffed them. The plaintiffs asked why the officers were at the residence and what crime had been committed, but the officers did not respond other than to tell them that a detective was en route to the location. They detained the plaintiffs for several hours, searched the apar...
